Shyne Bows Down To Jay-Z: “He’s Unlike Anything We’ll Ever See Again”

Rapper Shyne, former Bad Boy Records is giving it up to Jay-Z, recently admitting there is no bigger elite hip-hop artist than Young Hov these days.

Shyne even took things a step further by claiming it would take generations before we see another Jay-caliber emcee.

“Jay-Hova is absolutely unlike anything we’ll ever see again for generations to come.,” he tweeted September 27th.

“I’m listening to the dynasty album remembering Hov was much better than all of us back then’ now he’s even better than he was thenstill #1” (Shyne’s Twitter)

Last May, Shyne came face-to-face with Jay-Z and Kanye West at the Cannes Film Festival.

Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Kid Cudi and Big Sean weren’t the only celebrities on hand for Kanye West’s big event at Cannes yesterday evening. Former Brooklyn Bady Boy Shyne was in the house, or in the tent, for the much hyped screening when he bumped into a few old chums: Jay-Z and Kanye West. Kanye produced for Shyne on one of his previous efforts while Hov remained close with Po, reportedly attempting to sign the now Jewish rapper upon his return from a ten year prison sentence.

In late 2011, the ex-Bad Boy revealed Jay came to visit him during his nearly ten year stint behind bars.

“Jay actually came to see me on Rikers Island. When I got out, a lot of people don’t know that he was the one that negotiated my deal to go to Universal Music Group. He actually put a deal together with Jimmy Iovine. Jay’s always been supportive to me.”

“I definitely want to collaborate with Baby, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane,” Shyne revealed. “I’d also want to record with Usher, Rihanna, there’s a few people that I’m jacking their style, definitely. Obviously Jay-Z is always somebody you’d like to do a record with.”
