The Maybach Music head might want to consider spending significant time on the road. In promotion of his latest mixtape and all things MMG, the Bawse is hitting up Europe for his 14-date Rich Forever Tour, which begins in Lille, France, on March 21. Rozay will not only be performing songs from his respected rap catalog, but also debuting new music from his upcoming God Forgives, I Don’t album. By the time Ross wraps things up April 4, he will have run through Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Holland and London.

Rick Ross may not forgive, but apparently the government of Nigeria’s Cross River State doesn’t either. The Bawse was recently slapped with a lawsuit by the Nigerian state’s government for canceling a performance date at the Calabar Festival and failing to reimburse the performance fees. According to a recent article from InformationNigeria.org, Rick Rozay abruptly cancelled his performance at this year’s Calabar Festival, a nearly month-long music festival funded by the Cross River State government.

Rick Ross shook the Hip Hop community when he suffered two seizures in the same day earlier this month, but he assures fans that he’s on the road to recovery. During an appearance on “106 & Park,” Ricky Rozay appeared in good spirits, explaining that his medical emergency stemmed from sleep deprivation and that he has a clean bill of health.

As Rick Ross gears up for his next album, God Forgives, I Don’t, the Miami emcee offered up some details about some of the records on his new project, as well as the next installment in the Self Made series. During a conference call, the Bawse spoke on recording with Just Blaze, who produced the rapper’s latest song, “I Love My Bitches.” “I just want to tap back into that ’90s vintage Hip Hop sound… put a spin to it, and bring that back,” said Ross of the producer, notable for his collaborations with Jay-Z, and dozens of other artists.

The promoter for Atlantic City’s Summer Fest 2011 doesn’t expect any problems once the festival takes place on Saturday, July 2 but he isn’t taking any chances when it comes to security. Craig Newsome, the festivals promoter, has hired 100 guards and several police officers for a crowd that will likely be around 7,000 strong for the Hip Hop festival.

Rick Ross is making it clear: Drake was not dissing Jay-Z on any of his new verses. Ricky Rozay, along with a few of his Maybach Music Group infantrymen (Meek Mill, Wale, Pill), stopped by “RapFix Live” and made the clarification while heaping praise on Hova. After telling MTV News’ Sway Calloway that he and Drake converse often, and sometimes via iChat, Ross spoke highly of Jay-Z, who was president of Def Jam when the Miami rapper first signed to the label as a solo artist.
