Michigan emcees Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 will revive their late ’90s duo Bad Meets Evil. RapRadar.com has reported that Em and one of his longtime friends and Shady Records artist (by way of Slaughterhouse) Royce are planning an EP to release on June 14. The group, which had been rumored to be working on a similar project over 12 years ago, has reunited recently, and begun working on songs such as “Echo” and “Writer’s Block”.

Again, Dr. Dre is set to release his next single, “Die Hard,” featuring Eminem.
The single, which is Detox’s third official one, is the second to feature Eminem. Previously, Shady was featured on the intense and personal track, “I Need a Doctor.”
The single will premier after Friday’s (May 6) episode of “Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao/Mosley.”

RIAA has confirmed that Detroit, Michigan superstar Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP album has reached diamond status. Signifying 10 million copies sold, the 2000 Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records release remains one of Em’s most critically-acclaimed works. Website HipHop-N-More.com pointed out the milestone.

It was strictly A-list names at the top of the list when the lead finalists for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards were announced Wednesday (April 13). In the lead among all nominees was Rihanna, a finalist in 18 categories, who was followed by fellow multiple-award finalists Eminem, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. Among the categories Rihanna is up for awards in are: Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Female Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Dance/Electronic Artist, while her smash collaboration with Eminem, “Love the Way You Lie,” racked up notices in six song categories. Right behind her was Slim Shady, a finalist in 16 categories, including Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Rap Artist….
