Not only did Jay-Z hint that we’d be getting separate solo albums from him and Kanye West, Hov told MTV News that we just may get another Throne album. Will another tour follow? Jay and Yeezy aren’t the only ones gearing up for huge releases this year. Rick Ross, T.I., Nicki Minaj and Nas are all on deck to drop in 2012, and there rumors of an OutKast reunion — then again, there are always rumors of an OutKast reunion.

Singer-songwriter Ester Dean has signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
The 24-year-old broke the news on Twitter (via Rap-Up). “I’m so Grateful 4 my Team Past and Present! Bringing in the New Year with my new Team @RocNation 2012,” she tweeted. The Oklahoma native has lent her pen to dozens of artists in the game. Credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?” featuring Drake, Usher’s “Lil Freak” featuring Minaj and Dr. Dre’s “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z.

Again, Dr. Dre is set to release his next single, “Die Hard,” featuring Eminem.
The single, which is Detox’s third official one, is the second to feature Eminem. Previously, Shady was featured on the intense and personal track, “I Need a Doctor.”
The single will premier after Friday’s (May 6) episode of “Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao/Mosley.”

Dr. Dre Responds To 50 Cent’s Comments.

Earlier this week 50 Cent took to Twitter and said that Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine were angry at him for coming out with his own headphones to compete with Beats By Dre. It only took a day for 50 to say that him and Interscope head honcho Jimmy Iovine and him spoke, and were on good terms. TMZ cameras caught up with Dr. Dre and asked him about 50′s remarks, and Dre did not seem pleased at all. “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” he told TMZ.

After years of working on his long-awaited album Detox, Dr. Dre is the epitome of a perfectionist. In addition to some rumored collaborations, the super-producer, who is set to drop the LP early next year, has been logging studio sessions with the industry’s newest hitmaker. Alex Da Kid.

When MTV News caught up with the British producer at the American Music Awards on Sunday, he revealed that the duo were introduced through Eminem, who worked with Kid on the Rihanna-assisted “Love the Way You Lie.”
