From my point of view, i do think he did the right thing.
The fact that he walked to the cops to make enquires if the man he shot was still leaving or dead is something to ask your self ..why?

I think, he knew that the man he shot many years ago did not survive. He knew the man was not going to survive from the 3 shots. He gave himself to the cops because he knew has sinned. Yes, his sin will be forgiven because it is written “Say the truth and the truth shall set you free”.

Well 15 year to us mankind is a long period, but his spirit is now free from this dead man. Know one knows how G. Dep was facing, could be that he was having weird dreams or fear of God? “i don’t know”.
But in my opinion, he has done the right thing!

At the age of 52 years, he will be out!
