USA – CHICAGO — A gift of balloons sent singer Jennifer Hudson’s then brother-in-law into such a jealous rage that he shot dead her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in a horrific act of vindictiveness in the home where the Hollywood star grew up. A prosecutor is expected to tell jurors that Monday during opening statements at the trial of William Balfour. He is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the Oct. 24, 2008, slayings that generated nationwide headlines because of Hudson’s fame.

Hip-Hop star Kanye West is the subject of a lawsuit over an illegal sample contained on a 2006 mixtape. The Maybach Music head might want to consider spending significant time on the road. In promotion of his latest mixtape and all things MMG, the Bawse is hitting up Europe for his 14-date Rich Forever Tour, which begins in Lille, France, on March 21. Rozay will not only be performing songs from his respected rap catalog, but also debuting new music from his upcoming God Forgives, I Don’t album. By the time Ross wraps things up April 4, he will have run through Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Holland and London.
