Lil Kim Disses Foxy Brown, Declares War on Nicki Minaj & Cash Money.

Lil Kim Disses Foxy Brown, Declares War on Nicki Minaj & Cash Money.

The Brooklyn Queen B recently sat down with AOL’s Black Voices and revealed feelings toward Foxy Brown, Nicki Minaj and bad business dealings with Cash Money Records.

Though the two haven’t spoken in years, Kim and Foxy Brown’s relationship is still on a bumpy path.

“I don’t even want to mention her,” Kim told Black Voices. “No, because she’s just somebody that’s just… No, I don’t even want to mention her. One moment she got something bad to say about me, one moment she got something good to say.”

Kim went on to say her flip-flopping ways will not be tolerated and past experiences with Foxy showed her true colors. She even suggested that Foxy’s behaivor is a sign she’s still crazy.

The Brooklyn spitter also reassured her fans that she’s returning to claim her spot, specifically the money she left behind when certain events unfolded during her career.

“I’m coming back to get the money that I left on the table when I went to jail,” Kim declared. “The money that I left on the table when me and [Junior] M.A.F.I.A. broke up. The money that I left on the table after Biggie died, I’m coming back to get all of it. And not only that, I’m coming back to give my fans what they truly deserve, this is for them.”

The bigget gripe thus far might be the bad business dealings between her and Cash Money Records.

Last year, Cash Money label head Baby put her and Nicki Minaj on a track titled, “Grindin’ Making Money,” but pulled the record out due to a lukewarm response.

The move left a bad taste in Kim’s mouth and she is now claiming war on those that don’t have her best interests.

“When they put the record out, I guess the response that they got for her wasn’t what they wanted because everybody was saying that I smashed the record,” Kim asserted. “So [Baby] pulled the record back. They f—ing sh—ed on me!? Ok, now it’s time, now it’s war, because I’m tired. I’m tired of people taking advantage of me and being quiet and people don’t know what’s going on.”

Eminem Shouts Out Lil Wayne During Scotland Gig.

Eminem Shouts Out Lil Wayne During Scotland Gig
‘Free Lil Wayne!’ Em shouted before launching into ‘No Love’ at T in the Park festival.

He took the stage nearly 45 minutes late — allegedly due to “laser pen fears” — but Eminem more than made up for the delay with a fiery headlining performance on Saturday at the T in the Park festival in Scotland.

Em’s made just a handful of live appearances over the past year (his last U.S. gig was a headlining slot at the Voodoo Fest in New Orleans back in October), yet he didn’t show any signs of rust at T, ripping through a 29-song set that spanned his entire career.

Backed by a live band, he opened with “Won’t Back Down,” his collaboration with Pink off his comeback Recovery album, then worked through tracks including “3 a.m.” (from last year’s Relapse), “Kill You” (off The Marshall Mathers LP) and his breakout “My Name Is” (from 1999′s Slim Shady LP).

Em shouted “Free Lil Wayne!” before launching into “No Love,” the Haddaway-sampling song that features both rappers (obviously, Weezy couldn’t make it to the show). He dedicated “Love the Way You Lie” to “everyone who’s been in a f—ed up relationship” and paid tribute to his late friend (and former D12 member) Proof, telling the Scottish crowd about the time the two had devoured “weed brownies” in Amsterdam and “started speaking in tongues.”

The remaining members of D12 joined Em for a run of their hits, including “Purple Pills,” “Fight Music” and “My Band.”

He also acknowledged the rainy weather that had dogged the fest throughout the weekend (“I know it’s muddy and sloppy and sh–, but this is fun,” he laughed), and then, just before wrapping his set with an anthemic take on “Lose Yourself,” he thanked the crowd — and his fans worldwide — for sticking with him through the years.

“Everybody who’s an Eminem fan, I just wanna say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown over the years, for not giving up on me,” he said. “I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did tonight. Peace.”

Rick Ross Got ‘Focused’ On The Albert Anastasia EP.

Rick Ross Got ‘Focused’ On The Albert Anastasia EP
With his tape dominating the streets, the Bawse tells Mixtape Daily how he got into ‘war’ mode to resuscitate his career.

Mid-Season Salute: The Albert Anastasia EP
Last year about this time, Rick Ross was in war mode, fighting for his career. People had questioned his street credibility and 50 Cent was straight going for his head. This year though, it’s rosy for Ricky Rozay. He has “Super High” getting spins on the radio and the records “(B.M.F.) Blowin’ Money Fast” and “MC Hammer” are dominating the streets. Ross’ whole outlook has changed. “That’s the beauty of art,” Ross told us. “You can take it and channel it any way you want to. Of course, I realize I put a lot of pollution out there as well that I wouldn’t this year. That was a part of me learning. I’ll forever be attracted to some form or fashion of war. I feel it’s competitive but at the same time, I’m focused on my numbers. I’m focused on my business. I’m focused on my brand. I wanna see other things blossom around me, versus back-and-forth with nothing. For the most part, I feel when you prioritize your business, that’s the result — that’s the advice I’ve been given for so long. I’m trying it out.”

While Ross’ Teflon Don comes out July 20, for now, we have to turn our attention to one of the hottest mixtapes of the year: The Albert Anastasia EP.

“It’s more than just an extended play,” Ross explained to Mixtape Daily of the tape. “Because when I started recording and it was sounding too good, I wanted to put more songs in there than what I wanted to initially. But it’s The Albert Anastasia EP. I named it that because Albert Anastasia was a self-made man. He was a boss. He was a lot less celebrated. He was more focused on getting his job done, handling his business. Of course, he ultimately came to an untimely demise. But I feel when it’s time to go, it’s always untimely, so what’s the difference?”

“Sweet Life” with John Legend, “Knife Fight” with Kool G Rap and, of course, “300 Soldiers” are definite highlights.

” ‘Money Maker,’ free Lil Wayne,” Ross said. “Boi-1da did the production. We shot the clip in Barbados; we had a lot of fun out there. The video is real visual. It’s about where we come from and what a lot of people are willing to do to get where they going.”

Nicki Minaj Promises Debut Album Will Drop This Year

Nicki Minaj Promises Debut Album Will Drop This Year
‘The album is coming along just spectacular,’ she tells MTV News of yet-untitled project.

Nicki Minaj’s style is full of theatrical flourishes, from her candy-colored wigs to the animated faces she makes when she spits her rhymes. But the Young Money MC said her debut will introduce audiences to the woman behind the persona.

“The album is coming along just spectacular,” Minaj told MTV News. “I been doing a lot of work with Swizz [Beatz], and the stuff that we been coming upon is magical. When people hear the album, they’re going to get to know Onika [her birth name is Onika Maraj]. And no one knows Onika. I really didn’t think I would be this excited about the songs that I’m coming up with. I’m really, really proud.”

The Lil Wayne protégé promised that her album would arrive before the year ends but said she’s in no rush.

So far, she’s released the song “Massive Attack,” and the rapper is currently prepping the video for “Your Love,” an accidental single that landed atop the Billboard Rap Songs chart.

In addition to opening up about her life, Nicki Minaj will be introducing another alter ego on the project: Roman Zolanski. But the animated femcee was hush on any details about that.

“I’m gonna let the album do that,” she demurred. “As of now, you’ll know Nicki and you’ll know Roman, my crazy alter ego Roman Zolanski. But you’ll meet Onika before the year ends.”

M.I.A. Says She Has ‘The Perfect Song For Jay-Z’

M.I.A. Says She Has ‘The Perfect Song For Jay-Z’
‘I really want to produce for him,’ she tells MTV News.

“M.I.A. Says She Has ‘The Perfect Song For Jay-Z”

Last month, Jay-Z jumped on a remix of M.I.A.’s “XXXO,” the first single from her upcoming /\/\/\Y/\ album. And though they’d worked together in the past, on the epic posse cut “Swagga Like Us,” it was a move that surprised a whole lot of people — M.I.A. included.

“I was really surprised he liked ‘XXXO,’ actually. And I was really surprised he liked the version that’s on the album, and not Blaqstarr’s version, which is more … sort of urban sounding,” she told MTV News. “It was interesting he liked the one with the crazy synths and stuff. It’s more sort of [an] electro vibe … and his verse is so great. It was good to hear him say the word ‘metrosexual.’ ”

And with the Jiggafied “XXXO” remix now in the bag, M.I.A. is looking to return the favor. When we caught up with her recently, she was itching to talk about a song she’s been keeping just for Jay — a tune she had originally intended for /\/\/\Y/\ but one she scrapped at the last second.

“I really want to produce for him. … I have got the perfect song for Jay-Z!” she smiled. “In fact, that’s the best one that I had for my album which never made it. [It was] the first song I was really into and the song that actually made my album go in the direction it did, [but it] never actually made the album. But I want to give it to [Jay-Z], because I think it suits him more. It’s insane. He’s never done anything like that.”

M.I.A. wouldn’t divulge just what the mysterious song sounded like — or why she left it off her album — but she hinted that it’s pretty out there, pushing the envelope even further than the pneumatically enhanced “Steppin’ Up,” which she debuted on her Neet Recordings blog a few weeks back.

“Oh, it’s way more insane [than 'Steppin' Up'],” she said. “But [it's] in the same ballpark.”
